He was the anchor to a 12 person team. Each person ran 3 legs, passing on a baton from Madison, Wisconsin to Chicago, Illinois. Greg ran at 10pm, 4am and 1pm for a total of 19 miles. It was quite exciting. Greg's last leg was through Evanston. Brought Greg home to meet the parents! So things didn't start off too well. Greg's flight to Denver was delayed and he missed the leg to Toronto. He ended up being rerouted through Chicago and in the process he they lost his bags. So Greg spent the first night in my father's PJ's - needless to say they didn't really fit.

I was rear-ended yesterday. Not fun. I was headed to Roland's place after helping Joyce move her furniture in her classroom. Very blessed this past Sunday. We had a community dinner at Mimi's mother's house. Nancy, Kathleen, Ruth and Joyce shared their testimonies and were baptized by Pastor Wayne. Afterwards, we had a time of worship and sharing. I was very encouraged to hear all the great relationships that have grown in in the fellowship. I had this link sent to me today. It disturbs me greatly how much I identify with what the article describes. I definitely started our as a Beta, fought hard to gain the position of an Alpha and think I have settled into a Gamma. Yet I still exhibit much behavior from all three roles on a regular basis.

We celebrated Grant's (one of the boys who lives down the street) birthday! Joyce and I, who are so thoughtful and kind, made a cake and hat for the Princess. We ended up playing poker (Texas Hold'em) for the night and wearing bags over our heads.

Mom and Dad bought me a snowboard while I was home in Toronto (THANK YOU!!!). Thought I should get some good use out of it before the season was over. I went up to Lake Tahoe with Sherry, Erik, Tom and Grant. Beautiful, huh (I'm talking about my board).

The fellowship I go to is called Real World. It's a part of Abundant Life Christian Fellowship in Menlo Park (soon to be Mountain View). We took a trip together to Tahoe for some skiing. Had a really fun time, though I didn't take that many pics.
